Elections Center Hours Extended for Last Day to Register to Vote

STUART, FLMartin County Supervisor of Elections, Vicki Davis is reminding all voters that Tuesday, October 9, 2012 is the last day to register to vote or change party affiliation for those who wish to cast a ballot in the November 6, 2012 General Election.

The Elections Center will have extended hours Tuesday, October 9th, and will be open from 8:00 am-7:00pm for anyone who would like to register to vote or update voter information.

The Elections Center will also, conduct a voter registration drive, where residents may register to vote, change their party, request a Vote By Mail ballot, or check their voter status on Tuesday, October 9th at the following location from 4:00pm-8:00pm:


·         Chick-fil-A restaurant, located at 2930 Southeast Federal Highway Stuart, FL 34994

All that register to vote, or update their voter records will receive a free ice cream sundae, complements of Chick-fil-A.

In addition, the elections office will conduct an online “Vote for Chicken” election. All who participate in the election will receive an official “I VOTED” sticker.
