STUART, FL – Martin County Supervisor of Elections, Vicki Davis, is encouraging all citizens to “Check Your Voter Status” in order to cast your vote for the August Primary.

Following these helpful hints, will ensure you are “Election Ready” for the upcoming Primary election:

  • Florida is a closed primary state. A voter cannot select a party on Election Day.
  • All party changes and new registrations must be made by Monday, July 16th .
  • Voters can check their voter registration status at by clicking on the “Check My Voter Status” tab.
  • Early voting will take place at the Elections Center ONLY for the Primary, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., August 4th through August 11th.
  • Martin County voting locations have changed. To locate your precinct click Precinct Finder. Hint: If you only provide your house number and street name, it will be easier for the program to locate your precinct.
  • Vote by Mail is a viable option for casting your vote. Remember: ballots are not forwardable, and are mailed approximately thirty days before an election. Call the Elections Center or click Vote by Mail Request to request your ballot.
  • Precincts will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.
