2016 General Election Sample Ballots

Voting is . . .

Easy, Convenient and Quick but you must first be registered to vote by October 11th for the upcoming General Election!

Voting is Easy:
From our website:
  • You can access a Voter Registration Application form.
  • You can verify your current address reflects what we have on file. If you’ve moved recently, please make sure we have your new address.
  • You can request a vote by mail ballot – and track your ballot.
  • You can access information on early voting -- dates, times and locations.
  • You can locate your Election Day precinct.

Voting is Convenient: At one time, an excuse was required to receive a Vote-By-Mail ballot. Now, all you have to do is ask and we’ll send it to you. Every Vote-By-Mail ballot is counted—as long as it arrives at our office by 7 p.m. Election Day.

If you vote by mail, you can visit MartinVotes.com to update your signature at this link. Simply, fill out the form, print it, then sign and date the form and either mail or hand deliver it to 135 S.E. Martin Luther King Jr., Blvd., Stuart, 34994.

If you prefer to vote on Election Day (Nov. 8) make sure you have signed, photo ID.

Voting is Quick: Because of the increasing popularity of voting by mail and voting early, the ease and convenience of these voting methods eliminates waiting in line at the polls, saving time for everyone.

When it comes to the all-important matter of researching the candidates and the issues you’re voting on, we encourage you to slow down, take your time and carefully consider your decisions. Whatever method you decide to vote by, whether it is by mail, early or on Election Day, please take the time to vote!
