Countdown Clock is Ticking. Are You Election Ready? Register and Vote!

STUART, FLVicki Davis, Martin County Elections wants to make sure you are “Election Ready” for the November 6th Presidential election. The Elections Center staff will conduct four voter registration drives throughout the county which will allow residents to update their voter records. The voter drives are as follows:

·         Tuesday, October 2nd , Blake Library (Stuart), 10am-1pm

·         Wednesday, October 3rd, Robert Morgade Library, 12pm- 3pm

·         Saturday, October 6th, Bahamian Festival (New Monrovia Park), 10am-2pm

·         Tuesday, October 9th , Chick-Fil-A (Stuart), 4pm-8pm, last day to register to vote

These drives will give citizens the opportunity to register to vote, change parties, request an absentee ballot, or update their address and signature on their voter record.

Elections Center staff will have electronic poll books available at voter drives. This equipment allows staff to confirm where a voter’s precinct is located for Election Day.

Books close Tuesday, October 9th for first time voters who need to register for the November 6th Presidential Election.

The Elections Center will extend its office hours to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9th for voters to register to vote.
