Elections Supervisor Conducts Food Drive

Stuart, FL-In addition to preparing for the August 14th primary election, Martin County Supervisor of Elections, Vicki Davis and staff held a food drive in the elections office.

The Elections Center staff, which is made up of 8 full time staff members including the Supervisor of Elections, were able to fill four boxes with non-perishable food items.

The food collected was delivered to the Bridge Christian Outreach’s food pantry in Jensen Beach.

In addition to collecting food items, the Elections Center team held a voter registration drive at the food pantry. During the voter drive consumers of the food pantry were given the opportunity to register to vote, update their voter records and request a Vote By Mail ballot for the upcoming Primary and General elections.

“As Supervisor of Elections I consider it a great privilege to serve all voters in Martin County. My staff and I were excited to have the opportunity to give back to our local community, by collecting food for the Bridge Christian Outreach’s food pantry and registering their patrons to vote.”
