Make Your Mark, Pledge to Vote

MARTIN COUNTY SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS ANNOUNCES REGISTER AT SCHOOL MONTH

 

Stuart, FL- In anticipation of Register To Vote At School Month scheduled for February. Vicki Davis, Martin County Supervisor of Elections officially announced the 7th annual high school “Make Your Mark, Pledge to Vote” competition. Students from Martin County, South Fork, Jensen Beach, and Clark Advanced Learning Center will compete in this highly competitive competition, to see which high school can register the most students to vote.

 

The Martin County Supervisor of Elections office will conduct voter registration drives on the following school campus: Martin County High School, South Fork High School, Jensen Beach High School, Clark Advanced Learning Center, and Indian River State College.

 

The campaign will conclude with a trophy presentation at County Commission Chambers. Last year’s campaign registered 544 students to vote.

 

Last year’s competition winners were as follows: 1st place Jensen Beach High School, 2nd place Martin County High School, and 3rd place Clark Advanced Learning Center.

 

According to Vicki Davis, Supervisor of Elections, “We are excited to be able to provide our students this unique opportunity to register and update their voter records on their school campus. It is my goal to reach our citizens wherever they are and provide every possible opportunity to ensure that our students will be able to register to vote!”
