Anderson Graduates from the Elections Center

Stuart, FL- Kherri Anderson, Deputy of Elections Outreach for the Martin County Supervisor of Elections, has graduated as a Certified Elections/Registration Administrator (CERA) through the Elections Center.

CERA designation is achieved only through a multi-year course of study conducted by The Elections Center’s Professional Education Program and completion of twelve core courses taught by the Master’s in Public Administration faculty of Auburn University (Auburn, Alabama) ranging from ethics, to voter registration and elections law, planning, communications, and voter participation, among others. The intent of the program is to professionalize the management of voter registration and elections administration in promoting and preserving public trust in the democratic process.

Anderson was one of eighty-eight to receive her National Certified Elections/Registration Administrator (CERA) certification at a graduation ceremony held in San Antonio, Texas, during the Elections Centers annual national conference.

Ms. Anderson, a native of Martin County, and graduate of Florida Atlantic University, has been with the Martin County Elections Center for six years, and her duties include poll worker training and voter outreach.

“I am excited to share that I now have two staff members who have successfully completed the Elections Center program. My goal is to have additional staff members complete the CERA program to continue providing the voters of Martin County with the utmost in voter education and professionalism,” said Davis.
