Stuart- In anticipation of Register To Vote At School Month scheduled for the entire month of April. Vicki Davis, Martin County Supervisor of Elections officially announced the 6th annual high school “Pledge to Vote” competition. Students from Martin County, South Fork, Jensen Beach, and Clark Advanced Learning Center will compete in this highly competitive voter drive and student led assemblies, to see which high school can register the most students to vote.

The Martin County Supervisor of Elections office will conduct voter registration drives on the following school campus: Martin County High School, South Fork High School, Jensen Beach High School, Clark Advanced Learning Center, and Indian River State College.

The “Pledge to Vote” campaign will conclude with a trophy presentation at County Commission Chambers. Last year’s campaign registered 753 students to vote.

According to Vicki Davis, Supervisor of Elections, “We are excited to be able to provide our students this unique opportunity to register, update their voter records, and answer any questions regarding the elections process. It is my goal to reach out to all of our students wherever they are and provide every possible opportunity to ensure that they will be able to register to vote!”
