MARTIN COUNTY CANVASSING BOARD CONDUCTS RECOUNT

 

STUART, FL –  Martin County Supervisor of Elections, Vicki Davis, notices the Canvassing Board will meet at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday to conduct a machine recount of the Martin County School Board District 1 race.  A manual recount of overvotes and undervotes will follow immediately in this race, if necessary.  Upon completion of the District 1 race, a machine recount will be conducted in the Martin County School Board District 4 race.  A manual recount of overvotes and undervotes will follow immediately in the District 4 race if needed.  If it is not possible to complete the District 4 recount on Saturday, August 28th, the Canvassing Board will resume on Sunday, August 29th, at 12:00 noon to complete the manual recount.

 

These recounts will be held at the Supervisor of Elections office located at 135 SE Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard in Stuart.

 

In accordance with the Sunshine Law of Florida, all Canvassing Board meetings are open to the public.
