Supervisor of Elections Receives Golden Image Awards
Stuart,
FL- The
Martin County Supervisor of Elections Center was honored with a Golden Image Award
from the Florida Public Relations Association, during their annual state conference.
The Elections Center
received the top award in the Institutional category, for their βWhere
Will You Be In 2010? Vote By Mail!β campaign. The campaign was created by Vicki
Davis, Martin County Supervisor of Elections to encourage registered voters to request
a Vote By Mail ballot, during the 2010 elections. During the 2010 general election, 32% of
the votes cast were by mail.
Davis commented,
βIt is an honor for the Elections Center to be recognized by the Florida Public Relations
Association and receive this award. My staff and I look forward to continuing to provide
information to our Martin County voters and encouraging them to Vote By Mail, during
the 2012 elections.β
The Golden Image
Awards competition is conducted annually by the Florida Public Relations Association
to recognize outstanding public relations programs in Florida and to encourage and
promote the development of public relations professionalism in the state.
